Our Story

Doggo Dog Chew is a Himalayan Yak Cheese Dog Chew made with yak and cow milk

Traditionally consumed by the people of the Himalayan region of Nepal for hundreds of years. Through the process of pasteurizing the milk, removing the lactose and naturally aging and drying the cheese, the product known as Churpi or Durkha is created. We were lucky to discover that due to its smoky aroma and cheesy taste, dogs equally enjoy chewing them too, and boy, do they really love it. Doggo Dog Chew will keep your pup occupied for hours a day, lasting up to several days even for the busiest chewers. Not to mention, Doggo Dog Chew has no odor or messy residue, so cleanup is never an issue. In addition, these chews can also help reduce tartar and improve your dog's oral hygiene.

What are Doggo Dog Chews?
Doggo Dog Chew is a chew made from a hard cheese known as Churpi or Durkha, created in the Himalayan region of Nepal. Milk from yak or cow is pasteurized, its contents precipitated and collected, and the resulting cheese naturally dried to make an incredibly hard cheese chew that dogs cannot stop chewing.
Where are they made?
Doggo Dog Chews are imported from and made in the Himalayan regions of Nepal. Churpi/Durkha, the native name of this hard cheese product, has been made and consumed by the people in these regions for hundreds of years. Only recently have people discovered how much dogs really love them.
How long do Doggo Dog Chews last?
For moderate chewers, our chews last several days with constant use, up to a week. It's important to note, however, that this number can vary based on several factors, such as the size of the chew, size of the dog, and their typical chewing behavior. Make sure you know which type of chew is right for your dog!
What's the typical shelf life for these chews?
Doggo Dog chew can last up to 2 years if stored appropriately. For maximum shelf life, we recommend that you keep the chews at room temperature and away from moisture.
What can you do with the small pieces that are left over? I don't want my dog chewing on them as a choking hazard.
The best part about our chews is that they result in zero waste. When your dog has chewed it down to just a small piece, simply place it in the microwave for 45-60 seconds and watch as it puffs up into a crunchy treat. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes and it should be ready to feed to your dog. As with any chew or treat, always make sure to supervise your pet when chewing to minimize choking risk.
